Moscow: In Moscow two airports will be combined into a single state-owned entity. On Monday Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at government meeting that, this airport will be renovated and later sold to boost their performance.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is also favoured by a number of international airlines including British Airways, although the same airport witnessed the suicide bombing that killed 37 people in January 2011.

Putin further said that the government has planned to renovate the combined airport and making the building of a third runway at Sheremetyevo a priority and eventually sell it to private investors.

He added that Moscow's airports has future plan to double their capacity upto 100 million passengers by 2020.
