Student strips at US airport to protest pat downs

Washington:  On Friday, a 21 year old man stripped down to his underwear and socks at an airport in Richmond, Virginia to protest the new security measures, including a pat down at American aerodromes

Police responded to an incident outside of Security Checkpoint B when a man reportedly stripped down to his underwear and socks. The incident that occurred on Thursday afternoon at the Richmond International Airport. The report also quoted Richmond Airport spokesperson Troy Bell as saying that the demonstration took place shortly after 2 p.m.

National outrage ensued in the fall when TSA announced it would be requiring passengers to undergo either a full-body scan, or be subject to a pat down.
