Tampa: Bad weather in the northeast has led to about a dozen delayed departures and nearly two dozen delayed arrivals at Tampa International Airport on flights serving Boston, Philadelphia and New York City airports this afternoon and evening.

Snow and ice at Boston hampered flight operations, while low ceilings and poor visibility were affecting flights at Philadelphia and New York airports, the Federal Aviation Administration reported.

Southwest Airlines flight 3237 due to arrive in Tampa at 3:40 p.m. from Boston was reported canceled.

Southwest customers holding reservations to and from Albany, N.Y., Hartford, Conn., Manchester. N.H., New York's LaGuardia and Long Island's MacArthur airports on Tuesday were eligible to reschedule flights in accordance with Southwest accommodation procedures.

Passengers are advised to contact their airlines rather than the airport for flight information.
