Southwest Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Omaha

Omaha: Southwest Airlines flight en route from Omaha to St. Louis returned safely to Eppley Airfield in Omaha after the crew reported smelling smoke in the cabin.

Airport Executive Director Steve Coufal says Flight 3329 with 77 people on board returned to the airport shortly after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, about 20 minutes after take-off. He says the crew smelled possible smoke and decided to return to Omaha. He says there were no injuries.
