Nepal Visa and Passport
Nepal has trouble-free issuance of visa to all the citizens worldwide at Royal Nepalese Embassies or Consulates abroad and at entry-point Immigration Offices. Presentation of a valid passport, two passport size photos and fees mentioned below are required.

Required by all nationals referred to in the chart above except transit passengers continuing their journey by the same or first connecting aircraft on the same day provided holding valid onward or return documentation and not leaving the airport.
Foreign Nationals desirous of coming into India are required to possess a valid passport of their country and a valid Indian Visa.There is no provision of 'Visa on Arrival' in India and no fee is charged for immigration facilities at the airports. Foreign passengers should ensure that they are in possession of valid Indian Visa before they start their journey to India except nationals of Nepal and Bhutan who do not require visa to enter India and nationals of Maldives who do not require visa for entry in India for a period up to 90 days (a separate Visa regime exists for diplomatic/official passport holders).
If a visa is required, obtain it from the appropriate foreign consular representative or by using a visa service. Visa hours are 10:00 to 13:00 hrs except Saturdays and Sundays and other public holidays. If it is urgent or 10:00 to 13:00 hrs is reasonably inconvenient, visa can be issued during 09:00 to 17:00 hrs in working days upon request.Passports
Valid passport for a minimum of six months required by all nationals referred to in the chart above. The Consular Passport and Visa (CPV) Division of the Ministry of External Affairs is responsible for issuance of Indian Passport to the Indian Citizens. This document is issued from 28 locations across the country and 160 Indian missions abroad. The passport can be applied in the passport office, having your present address area in its jurisdiction. Valid passports are required by all apart from nationals of India holding proof of identity and coming from India.Nepali Passport is valid for ten years from the date of issue. It is non-renewable; thereafter passport holders are required to apply for a new passport well within time before expiry, but not earlier than six months validity period.
