Nightlife
Istanbul is the most lively city in Turkey for nightlife and variety. There are many city centers to this huge city, each one having their own range of clubs, pubs and bars. Some of the main centers on the European side to enjoy the city's night life are at Taksim/Beyoglu, Levent, Etiler, Nisantasi, areas along the Bosphorus and Sultanahmet. There is also the Asian Side, such as Kadikoy and Bagdat Street.

Shopping
Shopping is pleasure of any vacation or even business trip. Turkey famous for special handicrafts. Authentic bazaars, rug(carpet) and kilim workshops besides other traditional handicraft centers are offering pleasant shopping. The most well-known shopping center is Kapalicarsi, The Grand Covered Bazaar of Istanbul. The Spice Bazaar is also in the neighborhood.

In several cities, there are many fashion boutiques and shops at different malls. Some shopping malls in Turkey are: Galleria Atakoy, Akmerkez, Capitol in Istanbul, Karum and Atakule in Ankara, Oasis in Bodrum. You can find easily, modern shopping items at very attractive rates in these malls.

In Istanbul shopping is very easy by use of credit cards. Many shopkeepers and other staff in retail shops speak English and they are attentive and willing to show and introduce their goods. Shopping in Turkey is a part of a great vacation.

Eating
In Turkey, fish and seafood are very  popular. And there are a great variety of dishes to try, including trout (alabahk), turbot (kalka) and swordfish (kiliÁ), usually accompanied by a selection of vegetables, a traditional Turkish salad of tomatoes, cucumber, hot peppers and olives and a platter of fresh bread.

The sweet dessert such as halva (a sort of sesame seed cake) or a platter of fruit - watermelon is very popular - followed by a small cup of thick strong Turkish coffee (kahve).

Cinema
In Turkey cinemas are an extremely popular form of entertainment. It's no wonder that Istanbul is packed with them. There are many cinema halls; where one can enjoy. In Turkey there are different types of theaters such as Plaza, Multiplexes, Delites, and PVRs etc.
