American Samoa island is part of samoan island chain, and is an unincoporated territory of the United States Located in the South Pacific Ocean, most popular and largest island is Tutuila, and others are Manu'a island, Rose Atoll, and Swains island in the territory. The land area of American Samoa island is 200.22 km2, and total population57,2291 showed in the census of 2000. American Samoa is known as heart of polynesian, and a group of six polynesian island in the South Pacific.

It is a wonderful example of culture, Samoas represent largest population of polynesia nearly all American Samoans are Christian. Samaon people have strong christian community. Samoa includes nine inhabited islands on top of a submarine mountain range, it is a vastlty underrated tropical destination, soporific villages, wonderful peaceful bays,and world's uncluttered and utterly beautiful reefs and beaches.

National anthem of American Samoas "Lota Nu'u ua Fanau ai", people samoan refer their anthem as gift of God. The National Flag of American Samoa is blue, with a white triangle edged in red that is based on the fly side and extends to the hoist side, a brown and white American bald eagle flying toward the hoist side.

American Samoa is located 14 degrees south equator and 172 degrees meridian west. Located 2300 miles southwest of Hawaii and 1600 miles northeast, it forms a strategic midpoint for shipping and air route. Samoan island is discoverd by Dutch Explorer Jacob Rogeveen in 1722. American Samoa has the territory of the United States since April 17, 1990. After war the United States built roads, docks and medical facilities for the resident of samoa.
