American Samoa culture is same as western Samoa and oldest Polynesia's culture. It is believed that the people on the Samoan Islands came by sea from southwest Asia about 3,000 years ago. The language Samoan spoken at home and English is taught in schools. Samoic subgroup includes Samoan and the languages of Tokelau and Tuvalu. Mass is a special day for the children of Samoan as Christmas. Samoans live in small villages at seasides. American Samoa is a beautiful in culture and stunning natural surroundings.

Dance and Music
So many nightspots with music and dancing. Samoan fia fias is a feasting and traditional dancing, also known as Samoan feasts. Samoan village fia fias can be arranged through local tour operators. Visitors are usually welcome at any event in the villages and churches.The fire dance or Siva Afi is also a part of the Samoan culture, Other Samoan dances include the maulu'ulu which is an all female dance.

Religion
Most of the people follow Christianity in American Samoa. Christian Congregationalist 50%, Roman Catholic 20%, Protestant and other 30%. Samoans are faithful and generous supporters of village churches and pastors.
