Language In Use:
English is the national language of the United States.

Postal Services:
The United States Postal Service, formally the US Post Office, is an independent agency of the United States government, established in 1971 as an "independent establishment of the executive branch", responsible for providing postal service in the United States. It is one of the few government agencies explicitly authorized by the United States Constitution. Within the United States, it was formerly referred to as the "Post Office" or "U.S. Mail".   • There is one phone number and one data drop per apartment. Costs for these services are included as part of the standard rental agreement for all USA apartments.
  • Users provide their own telephone equipment.
  • Each telephone line is equipped with the caller ID feature.
  • Voice mail is not provided. Your telephone set must be equipped with a built in answering machine or you will need a separate answering machine.
