Day 01: Arrive Colombo - Kandy
Arrival
at Colombo Airport. Meet, assist and leave for Kandy. En route visiting
Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. At this orphanage you will find
elephants of all ages which are abandoned or otherwise unable to fend
for themselves due to being injured. They are looked after with loving
care until such time they are ready to work or be freed back to the
jungles. The unique feature is that one could feed the baby elephants
with bottles of milk during the feeding times. The elephants are also
bathed daily in a river located across the orphanage. Evening arrive at
your hotel commence this lovely city was the last Capital of the Kingdom
of Sri Lanka before it became a colony of the British Empire. During
the last two centuries of the Kingdom, Nanayakhar princes of India
exerted substantial influence among the rulers of this country.
Encircled by hills, with a tranquil lake in its centre, it is the site
of the renowned "Temple of the Tooth". Places of interest are the
Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and the Mahaweli Diversion Project in their
impressive settings. Spice Gardens dot the outskirts of Kandy along
with handicraft centers and the market-place is a hub of activity. Kandy
retains an aura of grandeur which time has not effaced. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 02: Kandy
Morning after breakfast leave, visit Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. This
lovely city was the last Capital of the Kingdom of Sri Lanka before it

Day 03 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
Morning after breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya en- route visiting a tea plantation & a factory. Commence
Nuwara Eliya sightseeing including a visit to the Sita Amman Temple.
Sri Lanka’s Garden city, Nuwara Eliya which means the "city of lights"
is also the city of eternal spring, where the air is pure, cool and
distilled up through 1,884 meters; windswept peaks lie shrouded in mist,
while gaily clad tea pluckers wind their way among tea bushes. Listen
to the wild music of the water falls. This is a holiday resort complete
with a Lake, Golf course and Race course ideal for hikes, golf, horse
riding and boating – the setting, a nostalgic reminder of the English
country-side. Evening at leisure or visits. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Nuwara Eliya - Bentota
Morning after breakfast, leave for Bentota via Kitulgala. En route, you will witness
many water falls including the famous St Clair’s and Devon falls
bestowed with enchanting beauty. The next place of interest is
Kitulgala, the location famous for adventure sports including mountain
biking, tracking, bird watching and the most attractive of all white
water rafting. This is also the site where David Lean’s world famous
film “Bridge over River Kwai” was filmed. Arrive at Bentota. Sri Lanka's
west coast can proudly boast of one of the best beaches in the world
for holiday seekers. Tourists can folic in Sun and sand while enjoying
spicy Sri Lankan cuisine or any other international food. Besides the
Golden Beaches visitors have many other attractions along this stretch.
Rivers such as Kalu Ganga, Bentara Ganga, and Madu Ganga offer
marvellous opportunities boating, rowing and other water sports. Boat
trips along the rivers will provide a valuable insight into the
bio-diversity of natural vegetation rarely seen elsewhere. An ideal
place for wind surfing and snorkeling. Any visitor to this region is sure
to be mesmerized by the traditional handicraft artistically turned out
