Day 01:     Arrive Napier
Arrive at  Napier.  On  arrival  you  will be met by a  local representative  who  will handover  your rental  car.  Explore  the  place  on  your  own.  Napier  is  an  art  deco  city  in  Hakwes  Bay  Wine Country.  Relax  or  play  a  round  of  golf  or  try  go  karting.  Visit  the  many  art  galleries  which Napier  is  famous  for  or  visit  an  art  exhibition.  Visit  the  nearby  vineyards. Napier  which  is steeped  in  history,  is  situated  in  the  midst  of  New  Zealand's  oldest  wine  growing  region.  All roads  lead  outward  to  the  region's  wineries.  Only  a  stone's  throw  from  the  city,  savour  the experience of  an  extensive  array  of award  winning wines.  From each taste  bursts the flavours, the  colours,  the  aromas  and  character  of  Hawke's  Bay  Wine  Country. Check  in  at  the  hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Napier.

Day 02:     Napier – Martinborough

After breakfast,  enjoy a guided Napier Art Deco tour by coach (approx 75 minutes). Afternoon self drive to Martinborough area.  Approximately 30 boutique family  owned wineries surround Martinborough’s  charming  village  square,  creating  a  unique  “walk  the  wineries”  experience. Sample  some  of  the  best  premium  wines  of  this  region  like  the  “Pinot  Noir”,    “Sauvignon Blanc” and “Chardonnay” . Visit the wineries on your own. You can even visit the wineries by a bicycle or by a horse carriage on your own. Rest of the day at leisure to explore this place. Overnight at the hotel in Martinborough.

Day 03:    Martinborough – Wellington
After  breakfast check  out  and  self  drive  to  Wellington.  Arrive  at  Wellington,  New  Zealand’s capital  city  and  check  in  at  hotel.  Set  on  the  edge  of  a  stunning  harbor  and  surrounded  by rolling  hills,  it’s  a  city  waiting  to  be  explored.  Full day  at  leisure.  Drive  around  Wellington’s famous  wineries  at  Wairarapa  which  is  only  90  minutes  drive  from  Wellington.  It  offers  the perfect  escape  with  a  strong  focus  on  gourmet  flavours.  Discover  the  boutique  wine  villages and  sample  some of the  best  wines. Wellington has  stunning natural  scenery,  a  wealth of arts and  culture,  a  vibrant  downtown  area.  Indulge  in  wine  tasting  in  comfort  and  style.  Another option  if time  permits is to drive  to  Cape  Palliser where  you will find a  variety  of adventures. Spy  on  the  North  Island’s  largest  colony  of  fur  seals,  and  walk  the  258  steps  of  the  historic Cape Palliser lighthouse for an incredible view. Rest of the day at leisure to explore this place. Enjoy  the shopping in Wellington.  You can also  enjoy dine  at  one of the many  award winning winery restaurants or enjoy a late night at a wine bar. Overnight at the hotel in Wellington.

Day 04:     Wellington – Picton –  Marlborough (Blenheim)
After  breakfast  check  out  and  self  drive  to  the  Wellington  ferry  terminal  for  your  Interislander ferry  to  Picton  (South  Island).  Arrive  and  disembark  at  Picton.    You  will  be  met  by  a  local representative who will hand over your rental car. Drive to the region of Marlborough, Blenheim – an excellent base for exploring many wineries. Tour the wineries of New Zealand’s  largest wine growing  region  and  sample  internationally  acclaimed  Marlborough  Sauvignon  Blanc.  You  can take an optional helicopter ride over the  wineries or hire a bicycle and  cycle around the wineries. You  can  also stop  at the  Vines  Village to  sample  the  extensive  range of locally  produced  olive  oils  and  internationally  award  winning  liqueurs  and  culinary  fare  .  Then  proceed  to  Blenheim. Blenheim has sunny climate and is the sunniest town in New Zealand. This makes it an ideal wine growing  region.  In  and  around  Blenheim  you  will  find  a  selection  of  cafes,  restaurants,  bar , shops and golf courses. There are more than 20 wineries in this region and most of them welcome visitors for sampling of wines and cellar sales. Overnight at the hotel in Marlborough.

Day 05:     Depart Marlborough (Blenheim)
After  breakfast  check out and  drive to  Blenheim  airport  or  Nelson  airport.  Drop  off  your  rental car at the airport to take your onwards flight.

All rates are per person in NZD based on minimum 02 full paying passengers traveling together.

Tour price includes:
  1. Accommodation at choice of above mentioned hotels.
  2. Buffet breakfast as specified in the itinerary.
  3. Self drive rental car IDAR Intermediate x 5 days hire.
Tour price does not include:
  1. International Airfare, domestic airfare, airport taxes & visa charges.
  2. Cost granted by the Reserve Bank of India under the Basic Travel Quota scheme.
  3. Any increase in the rate of exchange, surface transportation and land arrangements,
  4. which may come into effect, prior to departure.
  5. Porterage, tips, insurance, laundry, wines, mineral water, telephone charges, optional tours and all items of personal nature and also food and drinks not forming part of the menus.
  6. Anything not specifically mentioned in “Tour Price Includes” box.
 
 
Visa Requirements:
New Zealand,  a valid single entry visa  for  New Zealand will be required. Visa  charges will  be applicable.

Passport:

To  undertake  the  tour  you  must  be  in  possession  of  a  passport  valid  for  at  least  6  months
beyond your date of travel.
