Stetson: Police say a Maine pilot suffered minor injuries when his ultralight plane crashed in Stetson.

Maine State Police say the small two seater plane had engine trouble, lost power and crashed near a snowmobile trail around 5 p.m. The 49 year old pilot from Levant, whose name was not released, suffered a bump on his leg and cut on his hand.

The pilot reported that he was forced to make a crash landing about 5 p.m. when the engine of his Kolb Mark III Classic charter plane, a small two seater, cut out and lost power.
