Earthquake hits south-west China

On Thursday 10 march 2011, a series of strong offshore earthquakes of above 6.0 magnitude shook in japan. Seismologists said there was no danger of a destructive tsunami. A major 7.3 quake  in Tokyo. There
was no any casualties or damage. The japan meteorological Agency said "Yesterday a 6.8-magnitude quake
that hit 400 kilometers northeast of Tokyo. A shallow depth of 9 kilometers below the pacific seafloor".
After several minutes late Thursday morning, the 5.8-magnitude earthquake at 11.28 a.m was centered in the Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture in china, close to the border with Burma. It Struck about 10 kilometers deep, making it a shallow earthquake. There where killing at least 13 people and injuring nearly 130 other. "After the earthquake, the National Disaster Reduction Committee of the ministry of Civil Affairs launched an emergency at the national level".
